Don't Try This at Home


Could it really be possible to descend the Stelvio with no hands and no brakes?

I think he's got a coaster brake on that thing. He's definitely slowing down in teh corners.

If you really pay attention to the video, you can see that the rider slows down and goes through the corners at a very slow speed compared to the speed on the straight sections. That means he is braking. Watch carefully and you'll see that as he approaches the corner and through the corner, the rider is braking by applying pressure to the rear tire with the hell of his shoe.

Case closed. Hope he's not using his best Sidi's! Ciao!

Oops, that's HEEL of his shoe, not HELL of his shoe. Sorry.

Haha... yes, now I see it clearly; he's using his shoe as a rear brake. Crazy Italians!
