Tuesday Tryst

A confession, especially since I was spotted. Damn this small town...

Maybe you've been in this place too ...according to widely published statistics, a lot of people do it. Relationships can get monotonous. Just goin' through the motions, same ol' same old. Perhaps the years haven't been kind... uhh, put on some weight there, honey? Predictable foreplay, the usual moves, and then it's over. Oh, and the nagging! Last week--yes, it's become weekly--the nagging was just too much.

And it just so happened that yesterday I ran into someone from the distant past. And we chatted and it was nice. Soon followed suggestive talk of a lunchtime rendezvous for today. Something different and just a bit dangerous ...with this hot little thing, all thin and tan and tight. Hmmmmm.

So I did it. Snuck out of the house a bit early, incognito in different clothes and dark glasses. I had second thoughts on the way to the rendezvous spot. But I knew I needed what was ahead. When I arrived, that little tart had already started in some solo action. Whoa! I quickly joined in, but alas, shot my wad in a quick 5:33 and was no good from then on. Couldn't get it back up. Just wasn't accustomed to this kind of intensity. Oh the shame and embarrassment!

Sigh...

So that's it, I confess.

I skipped the usual Tuesday lunch-time ride where I was nagged last week (for stopping at a stop sign) and went here instead...
...for a secret rendezvous with this little tart...
...and some VO2Max intervals. And it was good!

Disclaimer: This post is in no way symbolic, emblematic, allegorical, or metaphorical for anything other than bicycle riding. What were you thinking anyway!?!?!

Damm, I was on to it when you didn't show up today. I heard you when you told the angry one that you wouldn't show up if you obeying the law and stopping at stop signs was a problem. Anyway Marco, I hope you got your fling out of the way and continue with us. And, you do know that the little red ball of hate has funny ways of showing his love. He does love you to death. When he stops nagging is problably the time to worry.

Umm...Marco. You need to...umm...maybe cut back on reading certain "forums", I think.

Or...maybe I do...

BTW, nothing wrong with "mixing it up" or "whackin' at it from another angle" IMO :-)

A little S and M builds one's pain treshold.

Heyron- Oh don't worry, that Little-Ball-of-Hate doesn't keep me away on Tuesdays. He just made a good character for the story. Until I start working again (or if), and now that the racing season is nearly here, I'll probably miss some Tuesdays in favor of longer rides.

TnA- Get your mind out of the gutter!!

Chester- Shhhh... Don't tell Todd!

Anony- Hmmm, a new training secret??

Marco, your best post yet you witty little tart! When are we going to start our little own secret stealth sessions...without the competition?

"hot little thing all tan and tight"

I can honestly say I have NEVER heard of CW mentioned in such terms.

So THAT'S where you were going when I saw you on Mt Dr yesterday! Sorry Marco, but I just came from that spot where I did it 5 times! Looks like you got sloppy seconds.

;)

Gary- Any time big guy. Won't Ben get jealous though? BTW, I saw you tt'ing on C.O. this AM before 7:00 when it was 35 degrees out. Crazy fool.

Jason- You're right, usually people refer to C-Walk in terms like #@&%!%!!

Anony- Gene I'm guessing? (I saw a bunch of riders out that day.) Good for you. You're hitting it hard and it'll pay off and you'll come around to my viewpoint re genetics. Oh, but you also must quit your job so you can take afternoon naps. That's key too...

Marco- Don't worry, I work hard to keep all my mistresses happy.....lots of love to go around. I would never compromise my summer post-work Ben hammer sessions. Also, those early morning rides are a secret....don't tell.
