Training Week -- 9/29 - 10/5

Sigh... I'm depressed. I blathered on about the importance of running (or doing some other weight-bearing, natural activity) as a complement to so much cycling. The point being that an only-cycling exercise regime can lead to low bone density and unbalanced muscle groups. I still believe that. But dammit if I didn't go an re-injure my right knee by pushing too hard when I knew I shouldn't.

Mon: 0
Tue: Ride; 1 hr, Lunchtime group
Wed: Run; 9 miles, 8:00 pace, All around UCSB and back
Thu: Run; 5 miles, 8:15 pace, xmas-tree farm

Hang in there man... nothing like a little big rig 101 motor pacing to take you out of the doldrums... lets meet tomorrow morning at 4am where los caneros meets the 101...

4 am on account of that is where the truckers will be and the early bird gets the worm!

Chesta-san,

Where were you? I waited 'til 4:01 AM but you didn't show! So yeah, round trip up to Gaviota and back in 45 minutes of motorpacing behind a semi in my little ring. You missed out...
