Where Are We?

This is my view RIGHT NOW!

[add/edit] OK, here's a hint (I took this pic a couple hours later)... too easy now...

What do we win? Don't say peppers!

You don't win if you don't get the right answer. I'll add another picture to make it really easy.

I'll take the peppers...or strawberrys! :-)

Does that mean Tom wins your Mustang Ranch gift certificate? You could hide it in the bottom of the berry box. I'm just saying.

Nobody answered the question correctly. The berries are all gone (except for a few we froze), and I didn't win the Mustang Ranch prime ...fortunately.

But definitely got a lot of peppers for a winning answer!

Omni Hotel, San Diego.

Pay up, pepper boy!

Marco moonlights as the Padres' mascot?

Which room at the Omni? ...just kiddin'

Pretty funny that I could see our seats from our room, and vice versa.

BTW, typing this from Ryan Bros coffee in Barrio Logan, just a block from the crit course! Hey folks, this place is great... patronize it next time you do that crit.

Are elite nationals this weekend? Is that why you are there?

Chesta-san,

We (Gina, me, and kids) have been wanting to do a mini-vacation using only public transportation, and the summer is slipping away so we picked this week. AMTRAK train from Goleta to SD, and then ride the trolleys and busses every place we want to go. Today was Mission Beach/Pacific Beach where we hung out with what seemed like 50,000 other people. Back home by the weekend to do five-hour rides. Elite Nationals next weekend!

Are you racing somewhere, or are you up for a big ride or two?

Mr Marco-

On vacation in scottsdale at the four seasons here... Living large. I rented a bicycle and rode this AM, but the weather has been in the 110+ degree. SO I was only able to ride 3 hours before I Started to literally bake (It is good to train in the heat though, we are pretty spoiled in SB) Scottsdale has all these signs up everywhere that says "bicycle freindly since 2005" and there are bike paths on pretty much every road I found. Glad your vacation was fun, I bet you are gonna be sore when you read this if you are putting in hard 5+ hour days. I'll be back on tuesday. See you on the lunch ride?

Hey Mike-

No, not really a Padres fan... just like going to MLB games in cool ballparks. And anyway, being a transplanted NorCal'er, I'm partial to the Giants and A's!
